A large part of my practice focuses on helping families to preserve, manage and transfer their assets and wealth from one generation to the next. My typical workday includes projects related to wills and trusts, other areas of estate planning and probate, business planning and working with our firm’s other attorneys on litigation and dispute resolution cases.

Eric J. Gold has been a Los Angeles lawyer since being admitted to the California State Bar on December 20, 1999.. Mr. Gold obtained his law degree (Juris Doctorate) in 1999, from the University of LaVerne, College of Law.  Mr. Gold opted to attend the four-year, part-time, evening program, so that he could pursue his business interests during the day.  While in law school, Mr. Gold was a contributing author to the law review (The Journal of Legal Advocacy and Practice) and received various academic achievement awards.. In 1993, Mr. Gold earned a Master of Science degree in Macomb, Illinois at Western Illinois University.  This advanced degree focused primarily on macro-level administration in the recreation and tourism industry.  The degree was completed through a professional internship with a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit outdoor cycling advocacy organization.  At the conclusion of the internship program, Mr. Gold became the first full-time, paid employee of that organization. Today, Mr. Gold remains an avid cyclist.. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1991, from Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado.  His major was Human Development and Family Studies, with an interdisciplinary focus in gerontology (the study of the elderly and the aging of America).  This program was through the CSU, College of Applied Human Sciences.  This background provides a unique perspective into family related issues and dynamics.. Since 1989, Stephen B. When not practicing law, I enjoy non-legal reading and writing, and of course spending time with my family--being outdoors, playing games, visiting national parks, singing and serving others (including on a couple non-profit boards).  My wife, Beth, is a Physical Therapist working in both geriatrics and pediatrics, but her primary occupation is home educator.  We are active in our church and enjoy bible study.  We have a loyal, somewhat obedient Irish Goldendoodle named Sherlock, several cats, lots of chickens and a guineafowl that showed up on our little farm and never left.
