Before private practice, I worked for several law firms, and served as a state prosecutor in Webb County, and also served as an assistant city attorney in Laredo, Texas.. I'm an avid cyclist, and have participated in several charitable cycling events including the Tour de Cure, and the MS-150.   I also enjoy spending time with my family traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Yvette M. Salinas, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and presently licensed to practice in the State of Texas, is an active member of the State Bar of Texas.. Yvette is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she received her J.D.   Prior to attending law school, Yvette attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she was a double degree major whom obtained a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Political Science.  After earning her Bachelor’s degrees, she went on to purse her Master’s Degree at Texas State University-San Marcos, earning her Master of Arts in Political Science, with a Minor in Legal Studies.. Another of  Yvette’s achievements was being selected to participate in the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Wills, Probate, and Guardianship Legal Clinic for her 3rd year in law school.  This highly competitive selection process only accepts 6 chosen students each semester to be a part of this clinic.  During her time in the legal clinic, Yvette worked under the direct supervision of a licensed attorney.  It was here that she received a wealth of knowledge of how to draft Wills, Statutory Durable Power of Attorneys, Medical Power of Attorneys, Advanced Directives, HIPAA releases, Admit a Will for Probate, Application for Guardianships, Proving up of Wills, Proving up Guardianship matters, Small Estate Affidavits, Determination of Heirships, and other related matters. A notable event from this clinic position was her assignment  to a very complex Probate case where the estate was valued at over $2 million dollars.  As a result of the complexity of the case, Yvette received special permission from the Law School Dean to continue into the Spring semester in the Legal Clinic, making her the Senior Student Attorney in the Wills, Probate, and Guardianship Legal Clinic. Through her hard work and dedication, she was able to get a large settlement in favor of her client.. In addition to her experience in the Wills, Probate, and Guardianship sector of the law, Yvette interned at the Boling Law Firm, in San Marcos, Texas where she gained experience in Family Law.  During her time interning at the Boling Law Firm, Yvette assisted with numerous Divorce, Child Support, and Child Custody Cases.. Ronald "Ron" B. Prince was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Edison High School, Ron attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Ron attended the University of Texas School of Law, graduating in 1978.. After working for a few years in the oil industry, Ron began practicing law in San Antonio in 1982. He focused primarily on worker's compensation cases for the first several years of his practice. I didn't become a lawyer until much later in life. I am a proud United States Navy Veteran and worked in aviation for over a dozen years before attending law school. I have found in my practice that a majority of my clients do not understand what a retainer is or how it works. A retainer is like a savings account that the law firm holds for the client and has two functions. First, it protects you from paying an attorney a lot of your hard earned money and nothing is being done on your case. Second, it protects the lawyer in that at the end of the month when I send you an invoice for work that has been done in your matter, I pull the funds from the retainer. This ensures I have money to pay my rent, employee salaries, and other expenses. As I work your case and the retainer gets lower, it is my job to discuss the status of your case with you and let you know what we still have to do to achieve your goal. Then we discuss replenishing the retainer with more money to achieve the results you want. Once the matter is finalized and our relationship has ended, any balance left in the retainer is refunded to you.
