Dana Sherrill Lahbabi is a native of Gaston County, North Carolina. Dana was born in Belmont and remained there through 2000, when she earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Belmont Abbey College. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Abbey after only three years. Dana attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she recevied a Juris Doctor degree in May, 2003.. Dana sat for the North Carolina Bar Exam in July, 2003 and was licensed to practice in August of that year.
