Leyla Kiosse counsels and represents clients on all matters related to matrimonial and family law. She began practicing as an associate with the Law Office of Margaret C. Tabak in 2006 and became a partner in January 2011 when Tabak & Kiosse, LLP was formed. Prior to that, Leyla was the Law Clerk to the Honorable David E. Christensen in the Fifth Judicial District in Pipestone, Minnesota. She is a member of the Board of Directors for CDWBA and is the Chair of the CDWBA Small and Solo Practitioner’s Committee.Leyla is also the Co-Chair of the Legislation Committee for WBASNY. In this capacity, Leyla works with association members to review and draft proposed legislation on both the State and Federal level. As a Senior Counsel at Tully Rinckey PLLC, Carolyn concentrates her practice on family and matrimonial law, handling cases involving divorce, separation, annulment, enforcement of divorce decrees, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution, child custody, child support, orders of protection, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also handles matters involving religious corporations.. Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Carolyn was of counsel to Cooper Erving & Savage LLP in Albany, where she practiced family and matrimonial law and religious corporations in addition to real estate law. She worked for state government for 33 years before entering private practice, serving as an attorney for the New York State Workers' Compensation Board, a contract negotiator for the New York State Division of Budget, and an analyst for the New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations. She also served an assistant county attorney for the Albany County Attorney's Office.. Carolyn’s work for Capital Region religious organizations extends beyond assisting them nonprofit corporate governance issues. She served as a Presbytery of Albany moderator. She is currently an Albany Rural Cemetery trustee, Fort Orange Club trustee, Capital South Campus Center Advisory Committee member, and board member of Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region. She has sat on the boards of directors of Habitat for Humanity, New Visions Foundation and St. Catherine's Center for Children.
