From 1994 to 1999, Paul served as a Trial Attorney and Assistant District Counsel for the New York District of the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS, whose functions have since been transferred to DHS).  As a government attorney, Mr. Szeto personally handled hundreds of immigration cases.  In addition to handling immigration and nationality cases inside and outside of the courtroom, he also offered legal advice to immigration inspectors and adjudicators.  Towards the end of his tenure, Mr. Szeto was assigned to investigate naturalization fraud cases, prosecute employment violations, and handle the stipulated judicial removal cases with U.S. Attorney's Offices.. Anita Gurnani is a partner of the firm with 25 years of experience. Prior to establishing the firm in 1991, she was associated with other law firms in the areas of Immigration and Nationality Law.After obtaining her Bachelor's of Law Degree from the Bombay University in India, Ms. Gurnani immigrated to the U.S. in 1984. She then proceeded to obtain her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers University in 1988 and was admitted to the New Jersey, New York and the Federal Bars. Being an immigrant herself, Ms. Gurnani is sensitive to the needs of her clients and their families.. For the past 25 years, Ms. Gurnani has handled Family Based Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visas, Employment-Based Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visas and Naturalization and Citizenship Applications.. Ms. Gurnani guides clients through their immigration issues from start to finish by providing personal attention to each step of their case. Charles Dawkins Jr., a proud Ohio native, completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio University, graduating with honors. He believes that while honors can help distinguish candidates in competitive fields, the true measure of success lies in the practical application of knowledge and character. He furthered his education at American University’s Washington College of Law, where he was fortunate to learn from outstanding faculty and mentors. Currently, Dawkins specializes in a diverse range of legal areas, including Federal and State Criminal Defense, Serious Personal Injury law, and New Jersey State Appellate Law. Gabriel O. Mondino is an attorney who has been with Burgos & Associates, LLC since 2009. Mr. Mondino has been practicing as an attorney for more than 10 years and is admitted to practice in both Louisiana and New Jersey. Mr. Mondino has represented both individuals and companies as plaintiffs and defendants, including commercial real estate companies, mortgage brokers, construction companies and other independent businesses. Mr. Mondino also has trial and appellate experience in both State and Federal Court, and was also one of the principal attorneys representing Dixie Brewing Company in expropriation litigation against the State of Louisiana related to the LSU-VA Medical Complex in New Orleans, LA. Attorney Josie Numa limits her practice to Immigration, Bankruptcy and Personal Injury cases.. Ms. Numa graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice in December  2000.  In May 2004, Ms. Numa graduated from Southern University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  During her time at Southern University School of Law, Ms. Numa participated in the Civil Law Clinic where she represented indigent clients in civil and child support matters.  Ms. Numa also clerked for one of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees in the Middle District while in law school.. Since graduating from law school, Ms. Numa worked as an Orleans Parish prosecutor for more than six years where she handled over 1,000 contractor fraud cases.  Upon leaving the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Numa has dedicated her career to the practice of immigration, bankruptcy and personal injury..
