I am an experienced Milwaukee immigration attorney, focusing on deportation defense, and family visas as well as immigration bonds and asylum cases.  I speak English (obviously) and Spanish, and am happy to talk through any tough immigration question over the phone.

My passion is my profession.  I view every case, no matter how big or small, as a direct reflection on my ability as an attorney.  Nothing is more important than attacking a case with honesty and passion--I strive to seek justice in a too often unjust world.  In my limited spare time I enjoy my children, and three dogs.  I am a licensed kettlebell instructor.

Clay A. Alger is a partner at Shumway Van’s Salt Lake City office. Mr. Alger graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After graduation he attended the University of Utah’s, S.J Quinney College of Law where he graduated with high honors and received his Juris Doctorate. While attending law school, Mr. Alger served on the Utah Law Review as a senior staff member. During that same time Mr. Alger published an article in that same publication that discussed Utah’s Highway Dedication Doctrine and matters relating to public prescriptive easements.
