Prior to managing my own law office, I was the Managing Partner of an Austin Business and Immigration law firm. Before my work in private practice, I worked for the state's highest criminal court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. As the court's Program Attorney, I supervised the Texas Criminal Justice Integrity Unit, assisted with the court's ten million dollar grant for legal education, and served as the legislative liaison. I also served as a briefing attorney at the same court.

I came to the US as an international student and went through a variety of immigration statuses before becoming a lawyer. This means that I really understand what it is like to deal with the US immigration system as both an applicant and an attorney. I try to be the immigration attorney I wish I had had when I was going through it myself!. I start each case with a strategy consultation ($100) where I thoroughly explain the available options so the client can make the best decision for them. If they choose to hire me to help them with an application we then agree on a flat fee or hourly rate. I have been using technology to work remotely since I started the law firm and have helped clients in the US as well as in a variety of countries. Having grown up in Mexico I am fully bilingual in Spanish.
