A graduate of Harvard Law School, I have been practicing law in Maine for 48 years. My original firm was named named Lowry & Platt, the firm was founded in 1971, I have continually specialzed in representing injured people  in Maine since 1983.. I am a former prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer. Since the formation of Lowry & Associates in 1983  I have overseen the handling of thousands of cases on behalf of Maine citizens resulting in millions of dollars in recoveries.. I am an active participant in a variety of community affairs. I am a founding member of the boards of PROP and Pine Tree Legal Assistance, both of which I served as president. I have  served on the Town Council and the Planning Board in Falmouth, the boards of directors of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Portland United Way and the Portland Symphony Orchestra.. My familyincludes my wife Betsy , my 10 grown children and 19 grandchildren.

Sara M. Balestra Menei was born in 1987 in Syracuse, New York. She received her B.A. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures with a related concentration in Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. In 2012, she received her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law, where she served as President of the Women's Law Caucus and Vice President of the Military Law Society.. In 2013, she was admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. In 2014, she was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.. Ms. Menei is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania State Bar Association.
