I help regular people and small businesses on the nortshore just outside of New Orleans.  My legal experience is pretty broad:  I've handled civil rights cases, medical consulting, wrongful death, bad faith insurance claims and car and truck accidents.  I've also helped people in mergers and acquisitions.. I was raised on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain in St. Tammany Parish. After graduating from Mandeville High School, I attended Louisiana State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Sales and Services. During college and after graduating, I gained invaluable experience working in different industries primary in the areas consisting of serving others.. Over the past decade, I have represented clients in personal injury, business law, and estate planning. Throughout this time, I have been involved in several trial jury trials and bench trials throughout the state of Louisiana. I have also practiced in front of the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal.. I am admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the 22nd JDC Bar Association.

Elisia joined Marchand Law in 2010 after 9 years with a New Orleans based defense firm.  She has 18 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation; and, her experience also includes pharmaceutical products liability, personal injury, and toxic tort litigation; as well as, breach of contract and healthcare contractual disputes.. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Elisia was a member of Moot Court staff, a member of the Spring Team and the National Team and a teaching assistant.  Currently, in addition to her busy litigation practice, she is obtaining her LL. M. in Healthcare Law and Policy from Hofstra University with a targeted graduation date of May 2018.. Elisia is admitted to the State Bar of Louisiana and Texas and is also admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, all Louisiana U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the 22nd JDC Bar Association.

Gloria Tianne Lastra attended Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Philosophy and Psychology in July 1995. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Tulane Law School in New Orleans in January 1998. Ms. Lastra is fluent in Spanish, being a native of Puerto Rico. Ms. Lastra’s practice has included varying areas of law on both the plaintiff and defense side, ranging from insurance defense, personal injury, domestic, workers’ compensation, and general litigation.  She joined Braden, Gonzalez & Associates in October of 2012.
