Eric G. Pettis was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he attended Millersville University and earned degrees in Political Science and Economics. In addition to graduating cum laude at Millersville University, Eric also received the A.G. Breidenstine Award as the winner of the university’s best research thesis his senior year.. Upon graduation, Eric enjoyed a short career in politics and state government including serving as the special assistant to the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania. Altogether, Eric has worked for three different state governments: Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.. After working professionally, Eric decided to pursue his life-long dream of helping those in need as an attorney by attending the Charleston School of law. While in law school, Eric worked for two local non-profits, a small boutique law firm, and the 9th Judicial Solicitor’s Office. Eric also served on the Charleston Law Review where he was later published for his article that addressed Searches and Seizures under the Fourth Amendment. After graduation, Eric was offered a judicial clerkship in the Charleston County Probate Court where he served at the pleasure of the Honorable Judge Irvin Condon among three other associate judges.. As an associate attorney at Koontz Mlynarczyk Belger, LCC, Eric is focused on helping clients with their civil litigation needs. Ron has over 20 yrs of litigation experience and is the founder of Skufca Law, representing businesses and individuals in the areas of business, construction, motorsports, and family law. Ron currently serves as outside general counsel to several long-time business clients while also working with individuals starting their own business or helping resolve disputes that arise. With substantial experience in the construction industry, NASCAR, and advising a wide range of businesses in all aspects of their legal issues, Ron is dedicated to helping both new and longtime business owners in a cost effective and efficient manner. Some of his representative clients are General Contractor JD Goodrum Construction, Charlotte Mechanical, and Front Row Motorsports.. Outside of his legal practice, Ron has always been actively involved in the community, having served on the board of the Dilworth Community Development Association as a long-time Dilworth resident; as a member of the Dilworth South End Rotary club; as a coach, board member and sponsor for Dilworth Little League for over a decade; a sponsor of Myers Park High School baseball; a participant in the 24 Hrs of Booty cycling fundraising event in Myers Park, having personally raised thousands of dollars to help cancer organizations; as well as other community organizations and events.. In 2013, Ron founded the South End Shuffle 5K & Mile Run running race to benefit the Purple Promise Foundation to End Melanoma cancer and the Charlotte Rail Trail. The South End Shuffle has helped raise money and increase awareness to these two local non-profit organizations that have personal and local connections to him and Skufca Law.

Dudley, a founding Member of the Firm, received the 2008 Foundation Award from the Fellows of the St. Louis Bar Foundation for his outstanding contributions to the St. Louis community and legal profession. He is also the recipient of the Lou Czech Award from the Missouri Municipal Attorney’s Association for his competence, professionalism, and contributions to municipal law (2003). Further, he is a past President of the Missouri Bar (’92-’93) and the St. Louis County Bar Association (’86-’87). In addition, Dudley is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the recipient of the Purcell Professionalism Award from the Missouri Bar (award to acknowledge outstanding professionalism by a Missouri lawyer, who consistently demonstrates an exceptional degree of competency, integrity and civility in both their professional and civic activities, 2001) and the Geyer Award from the University of Missouri-Columbia (bestowed for his services to higher education in Missouri) (2004).. He is also a multi-year recipient of the Missouri Bar Foundation’s W. Oliver Rasch Award, given annually to the author of the most outstanding substantive article published in the Journal of the Missouri Bar (1985, 1989, 2006). Having tried cases in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and in the Missouri Circuit Courts, Dudley is rated “AV” (the highest rating possible) by Martindale-HubbellSM, and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2014® in the categories of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation – Construction.  Dudley has been on The Best Lawyers in America since 2001.. D. degree in 1975 from the University of Missouri–Columbia.  Dudley currently serves as the President Elect of the Mizzou Alumni Association.  His practice is concentrated in the areas of civil litigation, construction litigation and municipal law. He has authored many published articles on the topics of construction law, municipal law and civil litigation.  Dudley has also been named as a Missouri-Kansas Super LawyerSM in the areas of Business Litigation and Construction Litigation.. Dudley is active in many charitable and civic organizations. He served on the Board of the Children’s Trust Fund of Missouri, on the Board of the Parkway School District, the Missouri Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse, and was Chair of that organization from 2001 to 2003. He is currently serving on the  Advisory Board of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery. He has been on the faculty of the Missouri Trial Judges College every year since 1997..
