My practice is entirely devoted to matters related to construction law, from the point of view of contractors, owners, and subcontractors. I have practiced in this area for more than 35 years, and has been recognized by my peers in the national publications Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers in construction law.. I serve as an arbitrator and mediator in construction disputes and have been a certified member of the American Arbitration Association’s Construction (Commercial) arbitration panel for many years. I was recently inducted as a Fellow into the College of Commercial Arbitrators, as the only member of that organization from the state of Iowa.

Shorge K. Sato is an experienced litigator whose practice has touched upon many aspects of the ongoing global financial crisis.  His litigation capabilities are exemplified by the wide variety of litigation roles in which he has served:. Mr. Sato graduated from New York University School of Law in 2002, where he served as an Editor-in-Chief for the Environmental Law Journal.  While in law school, Mr. Sato externed for the Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York and for the New York State Attorney General's Office.   Mr. Sato earned his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University in 1998.  Mr. Sato is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Illinois.
