Big business has infected the American public with a belief that everyone with a personal injury lawsuit is a malingerer, a faker, an exagerator and trying to game the system. Big business has done this for one reason - it benefits big business.. As a personal injury and workers' compensation lawyer, I can tell you that the vast majority of those with personal injury lawsuits or workers' compensation claims are not only not faking it, but work incredibly hard to tough it out through their pain. Worse still, most injured people do not get the compensation they desevre for their injuries. In the court system, it's because "tort reform" has infected even the supposedly unbiased judiciary. In the workers' compensation system, injured workers do not get sufficient compensation because the "grand bargain" that is workers' comp continues to move to the favor of corporate America.. If you have been hurt, you need a lawyer willing to fight for you - a lawyer willing to say FU to the system if need be. At Warnken, LLC we fight back against the system that is taking advantage of the injured in favor of big business and big insurane comapnies.
I'm here to help you get what you deserve!. Workers’ Compensation Experience. Dayna Kipnis, Esq. is an experienced workers’ compensation attorney. Dayna spent 10 years on the defense side of workers’ compensation, first at the well known comp defense firm Semmes Bowen & Semmes, then for years as Baltimore County’s in-house workers’ compensation defense lawyer.. Semmes and Baltimore County. As an attorney with Semmes and Baltimore County, Dayna became intimately familiar with the strategies and tactics used against injured workers. She learned which doctors tend to favor insurance companies and which don’t. She learned how investigation and medical records can be used against the injured worker. She also learned how good workers’ compensation lawyers in Baltimore County and the surrounding areas maximize the value of their clients’ cases.. Baltimore City Workers’ Compensation Firm Experience. Dayna took all that she learned in her decade in workers’ comp and applied it to helping claimants when she joined a small Baltimore City firm in 2012. She learned what it was like to represent real people as they struggle to make ends meet after an injury.. Dayna lives with her family in Owings Mills.. Personal Injury Experience. In addition to handling claimant workers’ compensation cases, Dayna developed experience in personal injury cases in her time in Baltimore. These included car accidents and premises liability cases. Car or motor vehicle accidents are relatively self explanatory. Premises liability cases are when you get hurt on someone else’s property and they are liable.. Ultimately, if you have been injured, it’s always worth exploring if someone else is liable. Tort laws are a part of our society and they are designed to protect the injured. Whether it’s on the job, in a car accident, or hurt anywhere else, make sure your rights are protected.
