Born and raised in Arizona, Sara attended Xavier College Preparatory (Track and Field MVP, Cross Country's Most Outstanding Runner, Four Year Varsity Letters, Outstanding Senior Athlete), the University of Arizona, and University of Kansas Law School. She has volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Sisters, St. Vincent de Paul, the Junior League, and the Phoenix Art Museum. She is also an avid outdoors-woman and a competitive runner.
