She is also a dedicated advocate for victims of financial elder abuse, a cause that became deeply personal after a family experience with her grandfather.. She discovered her passion for the law early on and pursued that interest through rigorous academic and practical experience. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a History minor from the University of Georgia, where she co-founded the UGA Defender Advocate Society to help students navigate university disciplinary proceedings. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2021. While in law school, she was actively involved in mock trial and moot court and gained hands-on experience representing clients through the Public Defender Clinic with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office.. Erin joined the DuMond Law Firm as a law clerk in 2019 and continued full-time after law school. She successfully passed the Arizona Bar in 2022 and, after gaining additional experience, transitioned into her current role as an attorney. At the DuMond Law Firm, she has worked on a range of complex cases, including assisting in a federal § 1983 civil rights lawsuit that drew support from the Arizona ACLU and Arizonans for Rational Sex Offense Laws. Erin plays a critical role in legal research and writing, drafting motions and petitions to help clients seek justice and relief.. Beyond her legal work, Erin is committed to giving back to her community. She volunteers weekly with the Arizona Humane Society and adopted a rescue dog, who has since become a beloved part of her life.. Erin is proud to be part of the dedicated legal team at the DuMond Law Firm and remains steadfast in her mission to provide effective, compassionate representation for those in need.

I am a native Arizonan. I was born in the Valley and raised in Prescott, where I attended high school.. I attend Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing in 2000. After a successful career exercising my creative talents as an entrereneur and computer artist, I decided to attend the Phoenix School of Law in 2008.. During my law school education, I served on the Executive Board for Phoenix Law Review's Fourth Volume as a Managing Editor. I also participated in the Veteran's Legal Assistance Clinic, drafting wills and solving landlord/tenant issues for qualified Maricopa County veterans. I further went on to serve veterans through my volunteer work at the Bob Stump Veterans Administration Medical Center. After graduation from law school, I worked briefly in the field of bankruptcy law.. In March of 2013, I joined a large firm in downtown Phoenix where I practiced criminal defense exclusively for over 3 and a half years. During those years, I represented hundreds of clients in various Arizona courts. In October of 2016, I left that firm and founded Hassen Law Group, PLLC with the mission to provide those charged with crimes a compassionate and dedicated representation. I firmly believe that everyone charged with a crime deserves quality representation, a zealous defense, and respect.
