Earl attended the University of Southern California from 1982-1986 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mr. Schurmer received his Juris Doctorate in 1991 from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles. In 1993 he moved to Santa Barbara to practice law with his father at the Law Offices of Schurmer & Drane.
