Patrick Kolasinski is admitted to practice before the Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of California, as well as all California State Courts. He graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law in 2008, and was admitted to the California Bar in February of 2009 (California Bar # 262363).. Before starting his career in law, Patrick had a colorful and diverse background. He grew up in a peach farming family in Hughson, California, and decided he wanted to be a lawyer while still in eighth grade. He took a long and windy path to that goal, working in theatre, business, and even as a teacher before finally going off to law school.. Patrick started his first business, Accordian Computing, during his senior year at Hughson High. This early taste of entrepreneurship got him hooked, and he has been involved in starting and growing businesses ever since. He worked with an internet start-up company while in college and then traveled to India, where he helped a local honey company get their international launch off the ground. While in India, Patrick also taught high school English and theatre at the The British School. After graduating from McGeorge and passing the California bar exam, Patrick helped start yet another business, a software company that creates special tools for schools.. During law school, Patrick spent two years working with the California Department of Parks and Recreation, where he learned the ropes of environmental law. While at State Parks, he worked closely with the State Historical Resources Commission and the Office of Historic Preservation. His work with the Commission and OHP introduced him to the National and California Registers of Historic Resources.. When not practicing law or working with startup businesses, Patrick loves kayaking, photography, and cooking, hobbies he shares with his wife, Vallerie.
