About me, I graduated from California Western School of Law in 2013 with a Juris Doctorate and a concentration in Criminal Law. I was the recipient of the Americorps Equal Justice Works Scholarship, the Creative Problem Solving Scholarship, and an Academic Achievement Award for Trial Practice. I also joined the Moot Court Appellate Team and received a Best Advocate Award at the American Bar Association Appellate Advocacy Tournament in 2012.. While attending law school, I worked with the California Innocence Project identifying potentially innocent people in prison. I also spent a year interning with the San Diego Public Defenders office.
