Emily graduated from CU Law in 2015 and specialized in Criminal Defense. While at CU LAW she was a memeber of the Spanish Speaking Law Student Group and the Co-President of the Transfer Student Group. She earned a Certificate in Health Law as well.. For almost three years she was a Deputy Public Defender in Mesa County (Grand Junction) where she handeled all types of Criminal and Juvenille cases and trails from trespass to homicide.. She later worked at Colorado Legal Services in Grand Junciton for another 2 years before moving back to the Front Range. While at CLS, she specialized in cases involving Domestic Violence, but also worked on record sealing, wills and estates and eviction law.. Emily was honored to join the McKinley Law Group in 2022 and am able to merge all her skills..
