Mr. Braun got all charges dropped, despite a grand jury finding that client had transported large amounts of crack cocaine to "Gator Smoke", a head shop operated by undercover government agents. Clients were also arrested for printing thousands of dollars of US currency. Motions were filed resulting in the successful negotiation and supervised release of the client.. Recently featured on the television series "American Greed" Braun Cruz Law Group represented security company for Fort Lauderdale ponzi scheme lawyer Scott Rothstein Five Star. Owners of Five Star were allegedly audio recorded agreeing to destroy documents evidencing the Scott Rothstein Ponzi Scheme. Five Star's alleged involvement included Morrocan wire transfers, money laundering through art dealers in New York, and performing said offenses with known mobster working with the coso nostra and the Gambino crime families. After the discovery was reviewed by the attorneys at the Braun Cruz Law Group, Mr. Braun successfully negotiated and reduced the charges resulting in a short term of probation for his client.. Mr. Braun has also successfully defended clients with charges of sale and transfer of automatic weapons. (DUI and BUI) Driving and boating under the influence are regularly handled.
