John E. Moore, III graduated from Vero Beach High School and earned his undergraduate degree in accounting, with highest honors, from the University of Notre Dame in 1982. Mr. Moore is a frequent continuing legal education and motivational speaker, presenting programs on practice management, personal development, charitable planning, as well as financial, taxation and estate planning matters to bar associations, law firms and charitable organizations in 22 states and two Canadian provinces.Mr. Moore has served a variety of community organizations in Vero Beach. He has served as non-partisan elected trustee of the Indian River County Hospital District which oversees indigent medical care and hospital operations in Indian River County. He has also served as Indian River County’s Affordable Housing Advocate and a member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Commission to the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. Mr. Moore worked to establish the Community Service Ministry and Men’s Ministry of The Holy Cross Catholic Church and has been a director of numerous local charitable organizations. His work in the community has been recognized with various community-wide service awards. Mr. Moore is a scuba diver, private pilot, sailor and golfer; he currently serves as a pilot in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Married to Lee Robinson Moore, the Moores have three children.
