Asima M. Ms. Azam is also very active in the Central Florida business and civic community. Since 2003 she has been a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Orlando Breakfast, and in 2009 served as the Club’s youngest President.  In 2004, she was appointed by Orange County Mayor Richard Crotty to serve on the Board of Zoning Adjustment and was elected Vice Chairman of the Board in 2007 and 2008. In 2005, she was also appointed by Commissioner Linda Stewart’s to the Orange County Citizens Commission for Children. Finally, Ms. Azam is also a graduate of the Orlando Regional Chamber’s Political Leadership Institute, Class of 2008.  In 2011, 2012 and 2013 Ms. Azam was honored by SuperLawyers with their Rising Star designation.
