Practice Areas: Personal Injury
As a child, Victor witnessed his father’s severe injuries from a motor vehicle accident, but his family never received the compensation they deserved, causing them significant financial hardship. This unfair experience sparked Victor’s interest in law. After high school, he worked his way through Florida Atlantic University, earning a degree in Criminal Justice.. Victor later attended St. Thomas University School of Law, where he actively participated in the school’s traveling moot court board and mock trial team, earning numerous awards. He also interned at both the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, the largest defense agency in the state, and the Broward County Attorney’s Office, where he represented the county in civil matters. These experiences solidified his passion for litigation.. After law school, Victor gained courtroom experience by representing corporations and individuals, even arguing cases before the Florida Supreme Court. While many attorneys claim to fight for their clients, Victor distinguishes himself with extensive trial experience. He takes pride in achieving favorable outcomes, whether through pretrial settlements or by successfully seeing cases through to trial.. Victor’s personal mantra is: “Because everyone deserves a voice.” He believes this wholeheartedly, which is why he fights relentlessly to ensure his clients are heard.

·. Riley is an accomplished, passionate, creative, and talented trial lawyer who, when not working, enjoys his family and big wave surfing.  He built a nationally recognized “Word of Mouth” trial practice focused on complex “David & Goliath” civil litigation.  For twelve years (12) years in a row, (2007-2018), Riley has been named one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America by Lawdragon Magazine, whose extensive research covers all areas of the law in attempting to identify, from more than a million lawyers nationwide, the 500 best lawyers in the country.  The list includes the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and several of his colleagues, as well as some of the most well-known and respected lawyers in America, along with respected law school Deans and Professors.  In 2016, he was named a Lawdragon "Legend" for having been named one of the 500 best lawyers for 10 straight years. At the time, there were 91 lawyers in the country with this recognition. He is also recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and his firm is recognized as one of the Best Law Firms in America by U.S. News & World Reports. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, one of the highest and most coveted ratings possible for peer reviewed legal ability and ethical standards, and is identified in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, and has been for more than 20 years.  He has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in recognition of his ability as a trial lawyer; a Florida Super Lawyer multiple times; named in Orlando Home & Leisure, Orlando Life, Orlando Style, and Orlando Magazines as one of Orlando's Top Lawyers; named by The Miami Herald, Miami Magazine, The Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Magazine, and Florida Trend as one of the Top Attorneys in Florida; named to Outstanding Lawyers in America and Best Attorneys in America, and identified multiple times as one of the Top Attorneys in Florida and the United States by Newsweek, Time, Town & Country Magazine, The Economist, and the Wall Street Journal.  Riley is listed in every major Who's Who publication available and has been since 1985.  In 2014 and 2016, he was named the Global Award Winner and “Trial Attorney of the Year in Florida” by Corporate International Magazine and by Corporate Live Wire.  In 2015, he was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by Lawyer Monthly.  From a professional standpoint, he is most proud of being named the first ever recipient of the "Guardian Ad Litem of the Year Award" by the Orange County Bar Association located in Orlando for his volunteer work related to serving as a legal guardian for approximately 75 abused and neglected children.. Riley is licensed to practice throughout the State and Federal Courts of Florida and Nevada, before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, as well as before the United States Supreme Court.  He is also a Supreme Court Certified Mediator.  He is an honors graduate of the University of Central Florida and Florida State University, where he received his law degree.  Riley is additionally a creative and innovative lecturer and writer and has authored numerous publications dating back to his undergraduate studies.  His professional writings have not been limited to the legal field as he has also authored publications in the fields of medicine and healthcare and, on a personal level, related to stewardship and Christian principles.  He has served multiple year terms in his church as Senior Warden, Vestry Member, and Stewardship Chairman.  He is a well-known and recognized volunteer in his community related to coaching sports and helping to organize and fundraise over the years for his children’s school expansion programs.. Riley is also the CEO of RBC Medical, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, which is one of the most Forward Thinking medical technology companies in the country.  Its trademarked "Changing the Face of Healthcare One Patient at a Time" underscores its unique approach to innovative medicine. RBC Medical partners with some of the most sophisticated, innovative, and elite manufacturers in the world to develop and distribute state of the art products in the medical, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering fields.  Riley patented, along with his neurosurgeon buddy from Boston, Dr. Arno Sungarian, a prospectively disruptive expandable spinal surgical cage made of titanium that adapts to the curvature (lordosis) in the patient’s spine, which does not occur with any other spinal cage on the market today.. ·. He is also a principal in Physicians’ Pharmaceutical Solutions (PPS), which specializes in providing innovative treatment solutions for chronic and acute medical conditions that are often less effectively treated with traditional medications, and Vicrin, which is an advertising company that supports the collaboration and exchange of peer-to-peer scientific and medical information between academia, physicians and industry to uniquely assist healthcare practitioners specifically in the amino acid analog and peptide arenas.. ·. Riley is a principal, along with two very talented scientists and his skilled neurosurgeon buddy in Boston, in TPEC, The Tumor Project to Eradicate Cancer, which has a patent pending on a unique cMET and MEK inhibitor (proteins that contain tyrosine kinase, the “on-off” switch for cellular growth, but which can aberrantly accelerate tumor growth).  The founders believed if they were going to make real progress they should start with brain tumors.  Great strides have been in made in the laboratory in the treatment of brain gliomas with the patent-pending formulation provided to mice, rats, pigs and now dogs.  The potential is life altering and truly disruptive.. ·. Riley’s most recent project is The Freedom Kids, which is a project with 3 former clients involving the writing of children’s’ novels that are faction-based (fiction, but based on historical fact) where Erik Raymond and Riley through the Freedom Kids teach young people about the phenomenal founders of our country and those who have continued to push us to the top, but which is focused on individual liberty and how faith served as the foundation and guide for most of these great people.  It is the story that is not told in the public school system.

He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 1980 where he won the school Moot Court competition and was a State Moot Court finalist. In October 2018, Wil became only the 89th inductee to the Stetson University College of Law’s Hall of Fame in the 119-year history of the school. The honor of being selected for membership to the Stetson Hall of Fame is bestowed upon alumni who have reached and remained at the pinnacle of their fields and have had a profound impact upon the College of Law.. Wil has been repeatedly named by his peers to “Best Lawyers in America” (the only Pinellas/Pasco plaintiff’s medical malpractice attorney selected), “Leading American Attorneys,” “Florida Super Lawyers” and “America’s Leading Plaintiff’s Lawyers.” He has obtained Martindale-Hubbell’s highest peer rating for both ethics and legal ability. Wil was selected by The National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Florida each of the past eight (8) years. In 1986, at age thirty, and shortly after founding Florin|Roebig in 1985, he became what may be the youngest lawyer in America to obtain a multi-million dollar jury verdict ($2.3 million). Million dollar recoveries have come in individual cases in the varied areas of medical malpractice, automobile negligence, transportation negligence, civil rights, employment discrimination, insurance liability, products liability, dram shop liability, pharmaceutical liability, manufacturer’s liability, class actions, accountant’s liability, and landowner’s liability. In 2005, his $15 million jury verdict in a trucking negligence trial was the 4th largest verdict reported in the state. His 2014 jury verdict of $47.4 million against a Tampa Bay area day spa and massage therapist is the largest jury verdict in Pasco County history and the second largest jury verdict in Florida for 2014. His 2016 $42 million jury verdict against Applebee’s and others is the largest contested jury verdict in Hernando County history. His $6.1 million jury verdict in a motorcycle accident case won in August 2017 is believed to be the largest jury verdict in Sumter County history. His recent 2018 $7.6 million jury verdict in a premises liability case is considered to be the largest injury verdict ever in the Clearwater, Florida civil division. Wil has obtained over 75 verdicts and settlements more than one million dollars on behalf of his clients. No Pinellas/Pasco attorney has obtained more million dollar jury verdicts [sixteen (16) including two (2) over $40 million] or more million dollar medical malpractice jury verdicts (7) than Wil.. Wade Coye

Firm: Coye Law Firm
730 Vassar St , Orlando , Florida 32804
Practice Areas: Social Security Benefits & Disability, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury
If you are reading this, you have likely hired my office for your case or you are searching for the best lawyer for your case. I sincerely believe that before hiring ANY lawyer you need to know something about them beyond the basic information like where they went to school, what organizations they belong to, how many years they have been a lawyer, etc.. Hiring a lawyer is, in many cases, a very intimate decision since many legal cases are about the impact of an event on you and your family. It's very personal. If we are to work together in a legal case, it is important to get to know each other!. In my case, you should know that the most important thing in my life is my wife, Joan and my five children.  They are the lights of my life. I met my wife, Joan at a Methodist church picnic. Fun fact: We were married in and still attend that church today. I was raised on a dairy farm in Central New York where I worked for my Dad and Grandfather. Being raised on a farm, I am no stranger to hard work. In addition to farm work, my brothers and I had a paper route and delivered the Syracuse Herald Journal 7 days a week!. I have had a variety of life experiences, from serving in the United States Army Infantry (1/41st Infantry Battalion, 2nd Armored Division), to serving two Members of Congress in Washington D.C. I have practiced law in Central Florida for over 27 years, representing thousands of consumers in large and small, simple and complex legal cases in Florida, New York, District of Columbia, Georgia and Michigan.. I started Coye Law Firm in 1991 (then known as the Law Office of Wade Coye) and over the years, I have developed a multi-disciplinary expert legal team that I am very proud of. My team and I handle cases as diverse as personal injury, workers' compensation, disability, probate and family law. We have recovered millions on behalf of our clients.. My goal is to be helpful with a client's legal matters. In fact, my practice areas and my office revolve around our efforts to help our clients. Many times I find that a client may actually have several legal matters that have arisen from one incident and in order to get a better result we find it best to coordinate efforts. For instance, if a person was working while driving a motor vehicle and was in an accident, this injured person could have a workers' compensation case, a personal injury case, a no-fault case, possibly a social security disability case, a long term disability case and possibly a case against their health insurance company. In some cases, a person may even have a family law matter that has been somewhat caused by the loss of income from an accident. We find the same applies when there has been a death.. This type of case requires both a probate action and a wrongful death suit, along with other areas of the law to coordinate.  The interrelationship between these practice areas means if your lawyer doesn't understand each area well and coordinate benefits appropriately, you, the client may not receive the best result.. So now that you know a little about me, I want to leave off by saying I value our relationship and work to completely understand the impact of a legal case on you, which I believe is invaluable to obtaining the best result possible for you. You will find that my advice will be direct and straight forward, as if, in some cases, I was making a decision with a family member.
