After being raised in Roswell, Georgia, I attended Hofstra University in New York. While at Hofstra I majored in Political Science and during my final year had the opportunity to work for The United States Attorney's Office in Washington D.C. It was there, while working in the Homicide/Major Crimes Division, that my interest and passion for Law was born. I was also provided a "behind the scenes" look at the operation of both the criminal and civil systems when I had the opportunity to work for The Honorable Judge Ben Studdard at Henry County State Court. While there, I was able to view and participate in the interworkings of everything from DUI's to speeding tickets, to landlord tenant disputes to breach of contract from the Judge's chambers!. For 7 years I worked as an Insurance Defense attorney where I became an expert in both insurance defense and workplace injuries, while fine tuning my Criminal Law practice..
