Before opening his own law firm, Rob defended some of the largestemployers in the country in employment-related lawsuits for over 13years. While doing so, Rob noticed that while there were always morethan enough skilled attorneys representing large employers, there wasalways a chronic shortage of quality attorneys protecting the rights ofindividual employees. With a natural inclination to represent theunderdog, Rob decided to use his experience to help individuals who aretreated unfairly in the workplace.. After graduating from the Emory School of Law with distinction in1994, Rob began practicing law in the Atlanta office of Jones Day, oneof the largest law firms in the world. After two years, Rob joined theAtlanta office of Paul Hastings, an international law firm known forhaving one of the top employment practices in the United defending some of the largest employers in the United States inindividual employment discrimination and harassment suits, Rob alsoparticipated in the defense of large scale employment class a natural talent for oral advocacy, Rob was fortunateenough to obtain courtroom and jury trial opportunities early in hiscareer. After six years at Paul Hastings, Rob became Of Counsel atJones Walker, the largest law firm in Louisiana, in it’s New Orleansoffice. Rob later returned to Atlanta to start his own law firmrepresenting employees. Despite some early success, Rob felt he couldnot pass up the opportunity to join FedEx Express as a trial attorneydefending the world’s largest express transportation company againstemployment-related lawsuits throughout the United States. In 2007, Robreturned to Atlanta to start his own law firm exclusively representingemployees.. Rob is the father of three boys and enjoys coaching their basketballteams and introducing them to the joys of trout fishing and hiking inthe beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

Orlando's practice concentrates on business litigation, civil rights litigation, financial services litigation, and several other areas of litigation, including labor and employment. Previously, Orlando served as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable W. Leon Barfield, U.S. Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, Staff Attorney to the Honorable Ural D. Glanville, Judge, Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, Litigation Associate in the Financial Services Practice Group of a national law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Assistant District Attorney in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit.. Although born in Peoria, Illinois, Orlando was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where he attended Chamblee Magnet High School. Thereafter, Orlando attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with High Honors in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs after spending a couple of years studying Mechanical Engineering. While attending Georgia Tech, Orlando was actively involved in Mock Trial, the Investment Committee, and other organizations. Subsequently, Orlando attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2006. At the University of Georgia, Orlando served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Steve C. Jones, Judge, Superior Court of Athens-Clarke County (Judge Jones currently serves as a U.S. District Court Judge in the Northern District of Georgia), Advocate for the University Judiciary, and Investigator for the School of Law Honor Court.. Orlando is admitted to practice before all Georgia State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Furthermore, Orlando is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Savannah Bar Association.. Outside of the practice of law, Orlando has served, since 2006, as a Judge-Evaluator and an Attorney Coach with multiple High Schools participating in the Georgia High School Mock Trial. In 2010, Orlando co-founded and chaired the Judicial Law Clerk Committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Orlando also participated in the 2011 Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy and 2013-2014 Leadership DeKalb Class. Through these experiences, Orlando was recruited to serve on the Board of Directors for the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra, recently being elected Secretary.. Orlando has also been extremely involved in education. Prior to attending law school, Orlando served as a Substitute Teacher for Peoria Public Schools and Academic Tutor at Illinois Central College. Furthermore, while attending law school, Orlando was an Academic Tutor for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. In recent years, Orlando has served as an Adjunct Professor at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
