Prior to founding Nelson Elder Care Law, Ms. Nelson worked for a non-profit elder care law clinic, an elder law legal firm, the Georgia Long-term Care Ombudsman, a Superior Court Judge, and Cobb County Probate Judge Wolk.. Before her passion for elder care law, Ms. Nelson spent nearly 25 years working in the Information Technology sector for Fortune 100 companies. During this time, she developed an appreciation for the complexities associated with elder care law. She enrolled and received her Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Lesar Scholarship for high achievement..
