My legal education focused primarily on social justice issues and human rights.  I love working with kids and I'm passionate about juvenile justice as well.  I also spent 3 years working as a Public Defender at the Lihu'e Courthouse where I had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing clients & talented attorneys in the world.. As a private attorney I enjoy working in both criminal and civil areas of law.  My currrent cases are primarily criminal, family and immigration matters.  However, I am trained and qualified to handle other types of cases and I'm open to inquiries about other civil matters such as: Landlord/Tenant issues, Temporary Restraining Orders, Wills, Trusts and Estates or any other problem that you are experiencing.  If I can't resolve the issue myself I will direct you toward someone who can or other useful resources.  Please feel free to reach out I am always happy to help =). Besides working as an attorney, I have 4 beautiful children and a wonderful, supportive partner for life.  We are so lucky to call this island home and grateful that we get to raise our 'ohana here.  I am honored to serve the Kaua'i community and dedicated to providing ACCESS TO JUSTICE for everyone.  Especially the underserved communities that get systematically left behind.
