Kathleen M. May concentrates her practice in the areas of Elder Law and Special Needs planning, Wealth Transfer and Estate Planning, and Estate and Trust Administration. Subsequently to obtaining her Illinois license, she became licensed to practice law in the state of Florida in 2012. Katie serves as the leader of the Illinois Collaborative of ElderCounsel, of which she is also a member. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce as well as being a member of the Young Professional Board of Directors for the Center for Disability and Elder Law in Chicago. Finally, Katie serves on the Editorial Board of the DuPage Bar Association publication, The Brief, as the Student Articles Editor.Katie was born and raised in Stickney, Illinois, and currently resides in Westchester with her daughter. She spent four years in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she completed her legal education. Between activities with her young daughter, Katie enjoys sharing her passion for Irish Dance with the children she teaches. She also loves to jog and spends time on the running trails in the suburbs of Chicago.
