I concentrate my practice in the business and franchise law. I am experienced in helping clients avoid disputes before they happen. But when they do, I use my years nearly 25 years of experience to resolve franchise, business, corporate, real estate and employment disputes in state and federal courts as well as through arbitration and mediation.. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in political science from Northwestern University and my J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, where I was a member of the Washington University Law Quarterly and recipient of the Gerald K. Presberg Scholar in Law Award. I am co-author of “Franchise Renewals: Considerations for Franchisors and Franchisees,” 19 Franchise Law Journal 2 (Fall 1999) and was a speaker at the Chicago Bar Association’s 2008 “Fundamentals of Franchising.”.
