C. Jeffrey ("Jeff”) Thut was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in 1984. Since leaving the office of the Cook County State’s Attorney in 1986, his practice has concentrated in civil litigation in Lake County, Illinois. In addition to Lake County, Jeff has successfully tried cases to juries seated in Cook, McHenry, DuPage, Kane, and Will Counties in Illinois. All told, Attorney Thut has tried in excess of twenty-five jury trials and countless bench trials and administrative hearings throughout Illinois. In addition to the Illinois State Bar, Jeff is a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
