The verdict stands as one of the largest ever awarded in Winnebago County history. Most recently, Chris and Meyers & Flowers’ founding partner Ted Meyers, secured a $600,000 total recovery for a client in a highly contested retaliatory discharge case. The recovery, which included attorney’s fees and the rare award of punitive damages, is believed to be one of the highest retaliatory discharge jury verdicts awarded in Kane County history.. In addition to being a successful trial lawyer, Chris has a proven track record challenging adverse outcomes and safeguarding circuit court victories in the 2nd and 3rd District Appellate Courts and the Illinois Supreme Court.
