I am an appellate lawyer, so most of my experience is in the reviewing courts; however, I also handle matters in the trial court when it appears that a case will later go up on appeal. Examples include motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and post-trial motions.. I am licensed to practice in all Illinois state courts, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.. I am an animal lover/activist and a huge sports fan - especially the NBA, NFL and NHL. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to many different genres of music, going to the movies (especially horror movies) and traveling.
