Michael attended and graduated from the School of Law of Valparaiso University in 1996 with a Degree of Juris Doctor, graduating with the honor of Cum Laude. Michael sat for and passed the Indiana and Illinois Bars in the summer of 1996.. Michael began his legal career as a Deputy Prosecutor with the Office of the Prosecutor of Lake County. The emphasis of Michael's practice has turned towards litigation. Currently, Michael handles mostly personal injury, medical malpractice, worker's compensation, and criminal defense cases.. Michael practices in Lake County, Indiana, and also handles cases throughout the State of Indiana and State of Illinois, practicing in both State and Federal Courts.. Michael currently resides in Chesterton, Indiana, with his wife and four children.
