I chose the field of DUI defense for many reasons.  I have a great deal of experience in all areas of the criminal law, and it is my opinion that more people are falsely accused of DUI than any other crime.  Many Judges and jurors assume a person is impaired if he or she cannot walk perfectly heel-to-toe on a line or stand on one leg for thirty seconds.  The fact is, most people cannot do these things after having nothing to drink.  Try to do theses things in your living room, then imagine trying to do them on the side of a busy street after being pulled out of your car by a police officer.  Additionally, I like the scientific aspects of this field, such as the effects of alcohol and drugs on the human body and the inability of breath testing machines to accurately measure a person's alcohol level.

Greg Bell was born in Kinsley, Kansas in January, 1964. He grew up on a farm near Belpre in west central Kansas and attended school in Lewis, Kansas, graduating with a class of 17 in 1982. While in high school he played eight-man football and also participated in basketball and track, the only 3 sports offered at the small 1A school.. In 1987 Greg graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas with a degree in Agri-business. From there he attended law School at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas where he received his juris doctorate, with honors, in 1990. While in law school he was the business editor for the Washburn Law Review. Greg is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts located in the State of Kansas.. After working as an associate for firms in Wichita and Topeka, Greg settled in Hutchinson in July, 1996 and began with Forker Suter, LLC. Roger Nordeen served as an Assistant District Attorney for over 20 years in the Johnson County District Attorney's Office. He has prosecuted felony, misdemeanor, juvenile and traffic cases in the Johnson County District Court, representing the State of Kansas in numerous jury trials, bench trials and preliminary hearings. Mr. Nordeen was assigned a general criminal caseload in the trial division, and has served as the consumer fraud attorney, criminal child support prosecutor and warrant attorney for the Johnson County District Attorney's Office. He has successfully argued appellate cases before the Kansas Supreme Court and Kansas Court of Appeals. In addition to his duties in the courthouse, Mr. Nordeen was a criminal law instructor at the Johnson County Regional Police Academy. He has also served as a volunteer investigator for the Kansas Attorney Disciplinary Administrator’s Office, conducting investigations of ethical complaints against prosecutors..
