Kurt has represented personal injury victims for most of his 37 year career. He has extensive experience litigating against trucking companies in cases involving wrongful death and serious injuries. In addition he has represented clients in cases against automotive manufacturers for deaths and injuries caused by defects in motor vehicles. Because of his work in these fields, he has, at his disposal a database of leading national experts who are uniquely qualitifed to promptly respond to an injury-causing event and to provide both consulation and expert testimony in a case. Kurt has represented clients in a variety of other product liability cases including the firm's class-action lawsuit against Merck for injuries sustained by clients who were prescribed the drug Vioxx. Kurt has been been recognized as Superlawyer and a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer. Kurt is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Justice Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and the Kentucky and Tennessee Bar Associations.
