As a former college athlete who worked full-time throughout law school, I am dedicated to making sure all the details of each of my cases receive my full attention. Growing up in Metairie, I attended Brother Martin High School and received my Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Tulane University with a concentration in Finance and Legal Studies. While at Tulane, I was a member of the football team and started 37 games in my career including the 2002 Hawaii Bowl.. Despite my interest in the law, I chose a different path after graduation, accepting a full-time management position with AT&T in Birmingham, Alabama. During my time in Alabama, I also completed my Master’s in Business Administration at Auburn University.. But after only four years in Birmingham, my passion for law brought me back home to Metairie where I enrolled in law school at Loyola University College of Law while continuing to work for AT&T. Just like with my MBA, I worked full-time during the three and a half years it took to complete my JD, all while raising a young family with my wife.. In fact, one of my greatest challenges came during law school when my youngest child was born nearly three months premature and weighed less than two pounds. In addition to the difficulty of balancing a full-time job and law school, I had to watch my newborn son fight for his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Fortunately, after receiving excellent medical care from the many doctors and nurses during his stay, my son was able to go home after 78 days in the hospital.. After finishing law school, I began my legal career at a reputable insurance defense firm in Metairie, during which I learned the insurance companies’ arguments and tactics in defending personal injury cases. It was during this time that my interest in personal injury cases began to arise. These injury cases felt particularly personal to me after me and my family were in a car accident that ended in medical treatments for the entire family.. My experience on the field and hard-working attitude provide the perfect combination for an attorney that is always willing to go the extra mile to work for my clients.
