He has been recognized as a "Leader in Law" by CityBusiness and is rated AV Preeminent for Litigation and Constitutional Law. Scott spent the years 2012 to 2018 and the 2023 academy year as a faculty member at Loyola University's School of Communication, teaching Media Law and ethics. He has also served as an adjunct professor at LSU.
