189 Wells Avenue. , Newton , Massachusetts 02459
Practice Areas: Litigation
Danielle Jurema Lederman is an attorney at Fogelman & Fogelman, where she practices in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on plaintiff-side employment law. Her principal areas of practice include representing clients in sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. She also represents clients in contract negotiations, including agreements relating to terms of employment, severance, and non-competes.. Her role is to help victimized employees and to stop wrongful workplace conduct. In some situations, demand letters may be appropriate; in other cases, litigation may be warranted. Sometimes clients have been terminated before they come to our firm, which may be the result of discrimination or retaliatory claims (such as complaining about sexual harassment). In these cases, not only have clients been victimized, they also must face the prospect of finding a new job. Other clients are not paid the wages they are owed. She works to help empower clients so that they can make the decisions that are right for them with respect to how to proceed with their matter. She works resolutely in seeking to achieve client objectives.

Firm: Mediation Saves
255 Homer St , Newton , Massachusetts 02459
Practice Areas: Mediation, Litigation
I am a full time certified Mediator who guides clients to craft financial and parenting agreements that meet their essential interests and which can save them money and future heartache. When parents are divorcing, I hep them focus on the best interests of their children and how to preserve the parental relationship.. I worked for eight years in the trenches of litigation in a large downtown Boston law firm, and saw people waste tremendous amounts of time and money litigating. I also saw the emotional toll that litigants face. Consequently I switched to mediation. I worked for one of the founders of divorce mediation in Massachusetts from whom I learned how to successfully mediate many apparently irresolvable conflicts.. I have a large family with many strong personalities. I also am an active volunteer in my children's school and community. Within my community, I have been sought out by people, including my Rabbi, to help resolve disputes where great sensitivity, creativity and discretion is needed.. What is most rewarding to me is when couples who have not been able to communicate for years, are given the tools through mediation to learn how to resolve disputes themselves and to begin to learn how to parent together as they are living apart.
