Nathan received the Professional Achievement award in 2023 from the Minnesota County Attorney’s Association for his work in helping address the fentanyl crisis at the Minnesota Legislature.. In his role as a prosecutor, Nathan learned the importance of fighting for justice and ensuring that a victim’s voice was heard in the process. Sarah has completed many 5k and 10k races and also participates in “run streaks,” running consecutively day after day for at least a mile each day. She also has many crafting hobbies, including knitting, cross stitch and sewing.. If she is not at home, she is likely bringing children to sports or activities, or participating in one of her various volunteer roles. Sarah serves as her daughter Mina’s Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys mentoring Mina and the other girls in the troop in leadership and life skills. The children also participate in Boy Scouts, gymnastics, softball, baseball, volleyball and soccer.
