Nathan started his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable John Solien in Aitkin County. He then pivoted to a career as a prosecutor. He served in that role for almost ten years at three different offices. Nathan wrapped up his prosecutor career at Sherburne County, and while there, his caseload included prosecuting sexual assaults, other assault related crimes, theft crimes, and controlled substance cases. Nathan received the Professional Achievement award in 2023 from the Minnesota County Attorney’s Association for his work in helping address the fentanyl crisis at the Minnesota Legislature.. In his role as a prosecutor, Nathan learned the importance of fighting for justice and ensuring that a victim’s voice was heard in the process. He joined Fields Law Firm to continue his fight for justice and protecting the rights of those who typically go unheard. Nathan is passionate about protecting the rights of his clients and works closely with those individuals to ensure they are making informed decisions.
