Mr. Hou supervised local and out-of-state law firms and attorneys in their handling of the insurance company’s lawsuits. He also was charged with the responsibility of making insurance policy coverage determinations, developing new processes for litigation management, and training claims adjusters in areas of claims investigation, medical/legal issues, negotiation techniques, and mediation. Mr. Hou provided legal advice and advisory opinions to both claims adjusters and upper management on complex legal and insurance matters. On top of these responsibilities, Mr. Hou maintained complete control over his own extensive caseload and trial practice.
