Born and raised in the Ozarks, Keaton graduated from Bolivar High School after being very active in Scouting, the FFA, band and media classes. He is an Eagle Scout, and has worked numerous summers at Camp Arrowhead in Marshfield, MIssouri, in addition to working for the ScoutReach program and leading a crew to New Mexico's Philmont Scout Ranch.. Keaton attended college at Missouri State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Resources Management.
