He also worked as a legal intern for the Project Harmony/Foster Care Review Office which oversees all Nebraska youth in out-of-home placements. His legal work also included spending time as a legal intern with the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office. Before attending law school, Jared earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English, with a concentration in Theory and Early Modern English Literature, from the University of Nebraska. He also obtained minors in Women’s and Gender Studies, LGBTQA/Sexuality Studies, and Japanese. His undergraduate accolades include being a National Merit Scholar and receiving both the Chancellor’s Scholarship and Rawlin’s Scholarship.
