Leland Eugene Backus is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and has been counsel in some of the largest complex cases in the country, including the MGM Grand Hotel fire litigation, DuPont Plaza Hotel Fire litigation, the PEPCON plant explosion, bone screw litigation, tobacco litigation, yellow brass fitting litigation, Venetian Resort construction litigation, and CityCenter Harmon Tower construction and lien master litigation.
