Additionally, he has served as the Vice-Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Criminal Justice section.. As a part of his practice, Daniel also handles matters on appeal in state and federal appellate courts. He has worked on cases  at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Daniel also represents indiviuals involved in class-action lawsuits in state and federal court involving employment matters..
