I am a North Carolina native who was raised in the Grantham community (a rural, farming community south of Goldsboro in Wayne County, North Carolina). Following high school, I attended the University of North Carolina, and after graduating from UNC, I moved to South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law.. Following my graduation from law school and passage of the North Carolina bar exam, I returned to North Carolina and began practicing with Strickland, Agner & Associates in January 2011. My practice focuses on family law (child custody, divorce, alimony, post separation support, equitable distribution, interim distribution, domestic violence protective orders, child support, separation agreements) speeding and traffic tickets, criminal defense, DWI defense and personal injury.. I moved to Fayetteville in 2014, and in 2015 I married my wife, Jennifer, and her support means more to me than words can describe.. In 2017 our firm saw a need for our services in the Fayetteville, NC region. We have opened an office staffed by my paralegal and me, and we are able to draw from our firm's vast resources to help peoople with nearly any type of legal need.. I have a passion for serving others, and I am thankful my career allows me to help people who are going through some of the most important events in their lives. It is my intense desire to provide the best client service possible and to help leave a lasting, positive impact on my clients as they move forward in life.. Jessica Flowers began her passion for the law as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Legal Services in Lawrence, Massachusetts. While also working full-time for the Boston Red Sox, she assisted the homeless population in applying for food stamps and obtaining other benefits. She found her love of the law in advocating for those facing difficult times in their lives. She graduated from New England School of Law magna cum laude and served in the United States Army as a JAG Attorney. She took every opportunity to learn and grow in her practice while she was there. She was an advisor to commanders and investigators conducting military investigations, and she also prosecuted offenders under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. She went on to be a Research Attorney in the Senate Majority Research office for the Hawaii Senate and then took a position as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Honolulu County.. In Hawaii, she began practicing family law and earned an excellent reputation amongst her colleagues for her zealous advocacy and hard work. Upon relocating to Fayetteville, North Carolina, she has stepped seamlessly into the Cumberland County Bar and continued to advocate for family law clients. She is the kind of person you want in your corner when going through a tough time. With her extensive knowledge of military life, she can thoughtfully and zealously advocate for your rights.. Jessica Flowers also volunteers at her community church with the Heritage Girls and with several autism advocacy groups.
