Duirng my time at FirstEnergy, I also held several management positions onboth the regulated and unregulated sides of the electric industry, including director or rates and regulatory affairs, executive director of retail energy transactions, and general manager of the E Group, an energy consulting subsidiary of FirstEnergy.. I retired from FirstEnergy in 2014 and have opened a private practice. While most of my practice is in state utility regulation, with an emphasis in energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart grid technologies, I also have experience as a general corpoate lawyer, with an emphasis in corporate transactions, litigation and start up businesses.
