I love helping my clients! It gives me great satisfaction to take on big insurance companies, and their tricky tactics, and help my clients win fair settlements.. Over the years, I have helped over a thousand of people who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions obtain millions of dollars in combined settlements. I have represented pedestrians, motorcyclists, bicyclists, commercial and semi-truck collisions, collisions with fatalities, collisions on public transportation, and most types of car accident collisions. I also have helped my clients win contract dispute claims against insurnce companies when the insurance company fails to pay their medical bills.. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Portland Community College in 2007, and then obtained my law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 2012. Shortly after graduating from law school, I began helping people who were injured in motor vehicle collisions while working at a mid-size personal injury law firm. In 2018, I decided to open my own law practice.. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have two amazing kids that keep us very busy! I also enjoy reading and going to the beach.

I came to Portland in 1988 to attend law school at Lewis & Clark, Northwestern School of Law after completing my undergraduate studies at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. I was raised in the country on the Kitsap Peninsula and more or less consider myself a native of the Pacific Northwest. I've always had a deep love for the Portland, Oregon community, and I am proud to call it my home. I have raised two children in the community over the past 32 years along with several cats and dogs. My hobbies include cycling, hiking, mountaineering, downhill skiing, rafting and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.. I began my legal career as a law clerk during law school for a firm that did both insurance defense work and plaintiff's personal injury cases on behalf of individuals. Firms of this nature are rare in today's legal community because they are almost always one or the other...not both. I worked 20 to 30 hours a week for the law firm during law school and attended classes full time. After I graduated in the top 20% of my class from law school, I passed the bar examination on my first attempt and began working at the same firm that I worked for during law school. My mentor was a senior litigation attorney who previously worked as a law professor part time at the Nothwestern School of Law when it was a night school in downtown Portland. He was an excellent teacher, and he taught me how to try cases to juries in the courts of Oregon. I was handling jury trials in my first year out of law school, which is almost unheard of these days. I also had opportunities to "second chair" cases with the senior attorney for serious injuries as well as wrongful death. When my mentor retired, I took over his case load of plaintiff's cases, and I have been primarily practicing on my own litigating cases on exclusively behalf of individual plaintiffs for over two decades. I no longer believe in representing insurance companies because I like to help people as opposed to furthering the monetary interests of Fortune 500 corporations. My experience representing insurers in the past during the first five years of my legal career has given me special insight into their inner workings and methods.. My passion is to help regular people navigate the legal system as an advisor and advocate. Most of my clients have never hired a lawyer before. I am very loyal to my clients and strive to deliver the best result possible. 99% of my cases are handled on a contingency basis, meaning that if nothing is recovered, nothing is owed for my time. I like the fact that I have skin in the game along with my clients. It's what keeps me motivated and passionate.

I enjoy meeting new clients, learning how I can serve their needs, and working collectively to analyze the situation and come up with strategies to deal with complex legal issues in an effective and cost efficient manner. I often provide a free initial consultation where, whenever possible, I estimate my fees for the legal project.. Outside of the office, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our young daughters and American Eskimo dog.

Josh Lamborn began his career as a Multnomah County Prosecutor. He prosecuted crimes ranging from Rape to Robbery to Aggravated Murder. In his 12 years as a Deputy D.A. Mr. Lamborn amassed well over 100 jury trials. Only in trial can a lawyer truly learn the ins and outs of trial practice. Mr. Lamborn’s extensive trial experience and daily courtroom presence not only helped hone his trial skills, but also helped develop relationships with judges and court staff, and learn what motivates judges and juries. As an insider at the courthouse Mr. Lamborn has an advantage when it comes to representing his client’s interests.. While settling a case is sometimes in your best interest, Mr. Lamborn is a trial lawyer; he will not take your case in the hopes of settling it to avoid a trial. Insurance company lawyers attempt to settle lawsuits as cheaply as possible. Only the realistic threat of a trial keeps them honest. Other personal injury lawyers settle cases they know are worth more money just so they can avoid trial. Mr. Lamborn will not settle a case unless you are getting the maximum compensation for your injury.. All of Mr. Lamborn cases are on a contingency fee basis, which means if you do not recover any money neither does he. If you were injured in an accident call or email The Law Office of Josh Lamborn to arrange for a free consultation

Proud to fight for injured people against insurance companies.. Joe is a successful trial attorney and younger half of the father/son team at Piucci Law. A former Public Defender with extensive trial experience, he understands what moves a jury and what motivates a judge to rule in his clients’ favor.. In his own words: “I truly enjoy building relationships with clients and serving as their advocate. It’s deeply fulfilling to take on greedy insurance companies and corporate entities and prevent them from taking advantage of injured or marginalized people. It’s important to make companies pay when someone has been hurt – not just to cover pain and suffering but also to make them change their actions that led to the harm.”

I started practicing law in 1992. I opened up my own practice immediately after graduating from law school and passing the bar exam. For the first two years I mostly did criminal defense. Then I started representing criminal defendants in civil matters: they had been held in jail too long, or beaten by the police. Then I began to represent people outside of the criminal law system injured in accidents -- primarily car accidents.. I liked doing that sort of work (personal injury or "PI" work). It tends to be less contentious and less stressful than some other areas, although no area of litigation is without its stressors, as conflict is inherent in the process.. When I cannot agree with the other side -- which is often, I am afraid -- I like to adhere to two concepts. The first is to disagree without being disagreeable. The second is to agree to disagree: stop trying to convince the other side that I am right and get the case before a judge or arbitrator to settle the matter.
