Biography. Reynolds Williams was born in Mullins, South Carolina on May 15, 1946. Reynolds Williams served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Combat Infantry Badge. Williams served as Legislative Assistant to United States Congressman Ed Young and to the US Senate Judiciary Committee. From 1975 to 1977 he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Williams joined the Willcox Law Firm in 1977 and became its CEO in 1990.. Reynolds is recognized as one of the Leading Lawyers in America and The Best Lawyers in America in the books bearing those titles and in 2008 was named one of South Carolina’s “Super Lawyers.”. In 1999 Governor Beasley awarded Reynolds the Order of the Palmetto, the State's highest honor, for his public service, civic responsibility, and friendship to South Carolina.
