Regina M. Banis (formerly Regina M. Strickroth)is an attorney admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina.  She has practiced law on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton since 1994.  Regina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1988, and her Doctorate of Juris Prudence from the University of San Diego in 1992.. Regina is a Certified Family Court Mediator and enjoys assisting people in reaching agreements in their family court disputes.. Regina began her career focusing on commercial and residential real estate transactions, including equity lines of credit, refinances, purchases and sales, contract preparation, § 1031 tax deferred exchanges; business closings and corporate work.  Regina has expanded her practice to include family law litigation, including acting as the Guardian ad Litem in custody and visitation disputes, family court mediation, and simple estate planning and probate matters..
