Graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School in 1971 where he received the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Tennessee Law Review. He has practiced law in Knoxville, Tennessee and the surrounding area for over 40 years.  He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.Mr. Owen began law practice with Banks, Daniel and Campbell after clerking for the firm during law school and joined as a partner during 1975.  In 1982 he and fellow attorney Bob Edwards began a successful private practice as Owen & Edwards law firm in Knoxville . In 1998 Mr.Owen joined the State of Tennessee Public Defender's office in the 6th Judicial District as an Assistant Public Defender and provided services to the indigent.  He retired from that State position in July, 2015 and has now returned to private practice.Mr. Owen is originally from Morristown, Tennessee and is an avid hiker of the Great Smoky Mountains.  Through his children he became active with Soccer programs and served the community as an AYSO coach and referee for 26 years.  From 1971-79 he proudly served his country as an MP is the U. S. Army Reserve.He is currently providing services in Knox, Jefferson, Hamblen, Sevier, Grainger and Greene Counties in East Tennessee.

Jillian Mastroianni focuses her practice on trust and estate matters, real estate law, and business entities.. Mastroianni then moved to Manhattan, where she worked in the marketing and public relations department of Chelsea Piers, a sports and entertainment complex located along the Hudson River.. Mastroianni attended Vanderbilt Law School and interned for the Honorable Jennifer Coffman, then-Chief Judge of the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. At Vanderbilt,  Mastroianni was awarded the James W. Cuminale Book Award for excellence in the study of Corporations and Business Entities.. An accomplished runner, Mastroianni won eight New York state championships in high school and was part of the Stanford University team that took 3rd place at the NCAA Cross-Country Championships. Since graduating from college, she has competed in seven marathons, including the Boston and New York City marathons. In Nashville, she finished as the 3rd female in the 2010 Country Music Marathon and won the inaugural Nashville Women’s Half Marathon.. Mastroianni currently competes as a member of The Athlete’s House Racing Team, and, in her spare time, she volunteers with Weimaraner Rescue of the South, from which she adopted her dog and favorite running partner, Oliver.
